This book is the introductory tale for the character Rista who features as the lead heroine in this serial epic. It's a story of suffering, sacrifice, love, courage, and perseverance. A must read for anyone who values these things and enjoys a well written novel as well as a surprise around every corner. I was totally captivated from the start and had a hard time putting it down. The story is very rich and engrossing and moves at a good pace. This is also a book the whole family can enjoy. It is worth reading.
